The next day, an educational trip to the beekeeping museum in Stróże was organized, which included workshops on the preparation of medicines based on bee products. Working in teams of students from different countries, the students actively participated and shared their knowledge about plants and bee products. All participants had the opportunity to present their cultural heritage in medicine and different methods of preventing or combating various diseases. They had the chance to learn new things about the cultural heritage of the partner countries, to gain new knowledge on this subject. As the presentations were digitized, all partners published them online on their national project sites, in order to share the knowledge with any interested person or institution.
All participants developed their knowledge of the cultural heritage of certain medical achievements or treatment methods. They also improved their ICT and STEAM skills using digital tools. Students gained more practical knowledge of medicine and science. It was an opportunity to realize that medicine is not only a sequence of certain processes undertaken for recovery from illness, but also a set of different cultural behaviors typical of certain groups of people, especially when considering traditional medicine.
